The Trumble’s Family Restaurant has been a staple of the Albert Lea community since 1985.  The legacy behind Trumble’s extends back much further than that.

Luke & Mary Trumble moved from Willmar, MN to Albert Lea in 1965 to make Albert Lea their home.  Luke worked for Standard Oil and Mary worked at the Standard Cafe. Luke retired from Standard Oil in 1979, but he and Mary had also began operating the Standard Café in 1967.  In 1984, they built Trumbles Family Restaurant which opened in 1985.

Luke and Mary’s daughter Barb and her husband Pat O’Connor also oversaw the operations of Trumbles Family Restaurant.  In November of 2015 Dinah Osman became the owner of Trumble’s to expand her family and bring a taste of the Twin Cities to the south.
